eBay Debut New Holiday Campaign & Offering Free Shipping No Minimum

eBay just announce in an official press release their new holiday campaign for the year! The online retailer is focusing their holiday campaign around unique and thoughtful gifts this year, calling it “The Gift They’re Waiting For Is Waiting on eBay”. Along with the announcement, eBay will also debut their campaign on television starting tomorrow, November 9. This marks the first time in 2 years since eBay last launched a televised marketing effort. According to Suzy Deering, Chief Marketing Officer for eBay, the marketing effort is a part of eBay’s mission to be the go-to destination for creative gifts this year. PJ Pereira, Chief Creative Officer and Co-founder of Pereira & O’Dell also goes on to say,
“The holidays are about spending quality time with family and friends, and the gifts we exchange should reflect these special relationships. eBay is uniquely positioned to help people find perfect gifts for the ones they love, and the new campaign brings this idea to life.”
Let’s face it, the gifting part is fun but holiday shopping is stressful especially when you factor how many people to shop for, what to get and when and where to purchase. As an e-commerce retailer, eBay is home to thousands of sellers worldwide and host both popular and unique gifts. This year, popular items are hard to spot and are not as evident as last season and so, eBay has made a note of it to list trending products but also accommodate shoppers who are looking for something a little different.
